Have you thought about being in a women’s bible study? To be among a group of women who admit mistakes, have questions, have great insight and want to be a better Christian? Then you should consider my group.
We start Thursday September 15th at the Scheels Cafe in Sioux Falls at 11:30am. We meet every other Thursday. This year we are going to be reading Brene Browns book, “The Gifts of Imperfection”. Is that a Bible Study approved selection? I don’t know:) We are going to read chapters from the book, highlight what speaks to us, then apply biblical verses and stories regarding the themes we see in the writings.
This group is a great blessing to all of us. We don’t all hang out on a regular basis which I think helps in the openness and candor of the group. There has been times when someone in the group has really needed to talk and we don’t get to our lesson. Other times I rule with an iron fist and get get through every question. That’s what special! We have accountability to each other and most importantly to our creator and we know that we are called to learn from the Bible and from each other and go out and be light to others.
